I was fortunate to be able to join a Verger tour of Westminster Abbey. These tours are very special because they are led by one of the vergers. At Westminster Abbey, vergers play a crucial role in maintaining order, assisting clergy during services, and providing tours for visitors. They also help prepare the church for worship and manage the flow of visitors, including discerning between those seeking prayer and paying tourists. You’ll also see a display of poppies laid at the Tomb of the Unknown signed by King Charles III from the VE 80 Day ceremonies.

Awesome pictures Randy.
